At E6X (https://e6x.io) we’re building core algorithms to improve big data SQL query performance by 25 to 200X. This results in billions of dollars of value unlocked across faster analytics, savings on compute infrastructure, and a wide array of new use cases.
Our vision is for E6X to power every analytical workload in the world.
Who you are
- You have worked directly with customers for 2-5 years, either in sales, pre-sales or customer success
- You have experience with data platform solutions with specific emphasis on data and AI services such as core databases, data warehouses/data lakes, analytics/BI, AI/ML
- You have an ability to translate abstract technical data concepts to business value and help customers through the solution sales process
- You have played around with some data platforms like Cloudera / Pivotal Greenplum / Azure HDInsights / Vertica / Teradata / Oracle / Hadoop/ Domo / Redshift / Hortonworks / Snowflake / Presto / Databricks etc
- You are most comfortable presenting, demoing and white-boarding
- You’re an excellent communicator, are curious to learn and willing to experiment
- You’re looking to join a company with product market fit, that has all the raw materials for growth (passionate users, great product, large market) but still early enough that you can have an oversized impact
What will you do
- Become a technical expert on the nuances and details of data engineering with E6X
- Work directly with Sales to technically qualify prospects
- Work directly with external technical counterparts (Head of Engineering, Data Engineering Leads, Analysts, etc.) to scope E6X engagements
- Document technical requirements, workflows, and functionality of prospective customers
- Answer key technical buying questions regarding product capabilities/functionality and roadmap
- Communicate technical feature requests and technical competitor info internally to Marketing, Product, Execs, and Engineering
