We are aiming to reach an annualized revenue of $1 billion (7700 Crores INR)  by this summer and are hiring over 500 additional employees. Areas of Impact for you
Leading the end-to-end Supply Chain for the business across international buyers and suppliers in the industry.
Creates and drives supply chain strategy and communications deliver strategic objectives and oversees quality management activities, including Demand Planning, Logistics and Client Service operations.
Ensure that the team works with suppliers to achieve targeted delivery lead times while minimizing working capital investment.
identification of potential risks in the supply side from the perspective of capacity and seasonal bottlenecks and take appropriate actions to mitigate the risks.
Set expectations so that contracts, in/outsourcing objectives and initiatives, and planning are met.
Manage approved supplier base including but not limited to supplier qualifications, performance requirements, cost reduction programs and Supplier Business Reviews with contractors.
Manage and execute goals and responsibilities associated with company procurement and sourcing organization.
Manage proposal quoting, cost analysis, reports, budgets, supply utilization analysis and capital expenditure management as needed.
Manage team meetings including plan update and status, monthly plan and forecast review,
Desirable Skills and Experience
Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in management preferred but mandatory.
Work Experience: 12+ years of experience in Global Supply chain management
A thorough understanding of the shipping/freight industry
Team management and leadership
Effective communication skills (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to actively listen
Negotiation and persuasion skills
Concise and clear oral communication
Strong organizational and time management skills are required, including the proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive deadlines.
